Last week, I had the honor to participate in the Festival in 9th Annual Games for Change, which is continued at New York University Skirball Center held three days of activities, mainly focused on the use of entertainment and interactive services and social interests. Games for Change is the largest game gathering in New York; the past eight years, brought together from the field of digital game game enthusiasts and on behalf of people, as well as teachers, activists, policy makers and foundations.
Now, no matter which level, I am not a rs4play gamer. My video game experience is limited to 10 years old to see my dad playing "rs4play" (when he explores the maze, magic applied to the monster, I will ask him to turn off the music - because music is too scary. Needless to say, I mixed with a sense of distance and fear took part in the Games, for Change, Game design (game state Note: even includes a game design for social change mission) and it seems nothing to the world and my documentary.
The Games for Change abbreviation surprised me. Three days of seminars and lectures (speakers include Atari founder Nolan Bushnell,rs4play and fully demonstrates that from SuperBetterLabs world-renowned game designer Jane McGonigal), games and documentary world not much different. The numbers game designers face many documentary producers also frequently encountered problems. As we discussed in the blog, which boils down to explore how to attract your users.
